A Day of Play & a Big Announcement

Last weekend Middy Sue & Pauley James played the day away. We are glad that the weather held out for them to enjoy each other. Middy Sue has been accepted into a foster home based rescue in PA. She will be leaving on transport Saturday morning. We have greatly enjoyed having her in our home & are extremely thankful to STAR for making sure this girl got out of the pound alive. We know that Pauley will miss her (as we will to); they are the best of friends.

    CONGRATS! I know she will be missing but the exposure to more potential adopters will be great for her. Will you guys be getting a new foster?

    Same questions as Kari! Will you guys be getting a new foster? Were't you part of a rescue-foster home setting for her anyway?

    Yes, we are a foster home, but in our rural area, there is an over-abundance of dogs & not enough responsible adopters. Most of our former fosters have went to areas up north; very few have been adopted locally. If I remember correctly,out of 40, only 4 have been adopted to homes in this area. I think once Middy Sue gets some exposure, she will find a home in no time. She is truly a happy & sweet girl :)

    Oh, I was out of town for a few days and missed the big announcement!

    Sendng the very very best of luck and wishes for the most amazing forever family for you Middy Sue! If your forever family is anything like your super foster family that's given you such a great start start and fun times with Pauley then its blue skies and green lights ahead sweet girl!

    I know you all will miss Middy Sue .. am I reading correctly that you've fostered 40 dogs?! Amazing! What an incredible gift you're giving the dogs in your area!
